About us:

As a Fortune 50 company with more than 400,000 team members worldwide, Target is an iconic brand and one of America's leading retailers. Joining Target means promoting a culture of mutual care and respect and striving to make the most meaningful and positive impact. Becoming a Target team member means joining a community that values different voices and lifts each other up. Here, we believe your unique perspective is important, and you'll build relationships by being authentic and respectful.

Team overview:

The Asset Protection (AP) Experience Product team is accountable for products and capabilities that help create a secure shopping and working environment for guests and team members while protecting Target’s profitability through strategies that reduce shortage. These experiences support AP workflows across Stores and GSCL locations, including surveillance, shortage leads, documentation, security prevention and resolution, and video-enabled investigation, while also enabling enterprise teams to leverage AP capabilities such as surveillance when needed. Through innovative, integrated, and intuitive user experiences, the team drives outcomes that strengthen AP effectiveness and create value across Target.

Role overview:

As a Product Manager – Security Prevention & Resolution, you will own the India-based product execution for security prevention, detection, and resolution workflows that support Target teams across Stores and GSCL locations. These capabilities help teams consistently follow critical security routines, manage visitor and vendor-related workflows, support key control and task routines, escalate issues, document outcomes, and drive more consistent, data-driven security operations.

This role will partner closely with U.S. product partners, field security stakeholders, engineering, UX, data, and the broader AP Experience Product team to translate user needs, field feedback, operational requirements, and security signals into clear product priorities. Your work will help create practical, scalable security capabilities that improve usability, standardization, visibility, auditability, compliance, and actionability while supporting thoughtful integrations across AP workflows.

You will also help modernize how Target supports and measures security routines by improving visibility into whether critical processes are being followed and enabling teams to evaluate which routines are effective, which need to change, and which may no longer be needed. You will bring strong product management routines to the team, creating consistency in product discovery, prioritization, roadmap management, backlog health, stakeholder communication, metrics, and delivery planning while ensuring decisions are grounded in user needs, measurable outcomes, operational value, and clear product strategy.

As a Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will collaborate with your product team and key stakeholders to develop a plan and business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to build a strong knowledge of your product through product discovery to collect customer feedback and work to collect other relevant data points that explain the value and help you prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.

You will be the “voice of the product” with your product team and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and you will be responsible to maintain and refine the product backlog (create user stories & acceptance criteria) while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.

You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.
