Team overview:

The Asset Protection (AP) Experience Product team is accountable for products and capabilities that help create a secure shopping and working environment for guests and team members while protecting Target’s profitability through strategies that reduce shortage. These experiences support AP workflows across Stores and GSCL locations, including surveillance, shortage leads, documentation, security prevention and resolution, and video-enabled investigation, while also enabling enterprise teams to leverage AP capabilities such as surveillance when needed. Through innovative, integrated, and intuitive user experiences, the team drives outcomes that strengthen AP effectiveness and create value across Target.

Role overview:

As a Product Manager – Video/ Theia Platform, you will own the India-based product execution for the core video platform capabilities that power Target’s surveillance experiences and enable video to be easily accessed, used, and integrated across enterprise product workflows. Theia supports users across Stores, GSCL locations, HQ, and enterprise teams who rely on video for monitoring, investigations, evidence capture, event review, operational visibility, and shortage and security workflows.

This role will partner closely with U.S. product partners, engineering, UX, infrastructure, and enterprise product teams to evolve Theia as a flexible, scalable, and resilient enterprise video platform. You will help deliver and improve capabilities such as streaming, playback, retention, camera configuration, audit, permissions, health monitoring, and integrations that make video available to downstream product experiences. You will also help shape future platform needs, including compute capabilities, scale, resiliency, and secure access patterns that allow video to be leveraged more effectively across Target.

As a Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will collaborate with your product team and key stakeholders to develop a plan and business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to build a strong knowledge of your product through product discovery to collect customer feedback and work to collect other relevant data points that explain the value and help you prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.

You will be the “voice of the product” with your product team and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and you will be responsible to maintain and refine the product backlog (create user stories & acceptance criteria) while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.

You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction.
