We are seeking a seasoned Static Data Professional to join our operations team within State Street Markets. This requires experience in handling client static data, settlement instructions, and operational processes with accuracy and timeliness. The candidate should be proactive in resolving issues, managing escalations, and ensuring smooth execution of BAU. This position is based in India and offers the opportunity to work with a global client base and cross-functional teams.

What you will be responsible for
- Add, update, and maintain static data across transaction systems based on direction from Middle Office, Trading, and Client Onboarding.
- Assist with static data setup and issue resolution within portfolio and treasury applications (Portfolio Solutions, Financing Solutions, Global Treasury, FX).
- Create and maintain accounts, settlement instructions.
- Support daily operations by maintaining MS Access databases and related applications.
- Research and resolve queries and escalated settlement issues.
- Handle BAU processes with timeliness, accuracy, and appropriate escalations.
- Evaluate and improve operational processes on a continuous basis.
- Function independently with zero handholding for BAU activities.
- Perform review functions with timeliness and accuracy.
- Business SME with strong understanding of systems, end-to-end process and client/regional nuances.
- Conduct training for new joiners and assist other team members on BAU issues.
- Proactively share best practices, process knowledge, and error/incident awareness across the team.
- Take ownership for timely and accurate completion of processes and daily tasks.
- Assist with requirements gathering and UAT testing for Tech projects.
- Suggest and implement ideas for process improvements and fix control gaps.
- Experience in reviewing and improving operational workflows.
- Strong commitment to compliance, accuracy, and client service excellence.

- Degrees such as B.Com, BBM/BBA, MBA (Finance), M.Com preferred.
- Overall 8+ Years of experience in the financial service industry.
- Knowledge of financial markets, portfolio solutions, and treasury systems is preferred.
