About the Role

CloudSEK is looking for a Customer Threat Advisor to help customers convert cyber intelligence into clear action.

This is a customer-facing security role for someone who understands cyber threats and can explain them clearly to CISOs, security teams, and business stakeholders.

The role sits at the intersection of customer success, threat intelligence, AI security, infrastructure vulnerability management, and security consulting.

What You Will Do

Own Customer Threat Outcomes

You will ensure that customers clearly understand the threats affecting them and the value CloudSEK is delivering.

You will:

  • Review threat intelligence findings for assigned accounts.
  • Identify high-priority incidents that need customer attention.
  • Explain the business impact of threats.
  • Share critical incident updates with CISOs and security teams.
  • Follow up on important incidents until there is action or closure.

Conduct Weekly Incident Triage

You will work closely with analysts to review customer incidents every week.

You will:

  • Review critical and high-severity incidents.
  • Prioritize incidents based on customer context and business impact.
  • Prepare clear customer-ready summaries.
  • Ensure important incidents are not missed or buried in reports.
  • Track which incidents were reported, acknowledged, and actioned.

Act as a Security Consultant to Customers

You should enjoy working like a consultant.

You will:

  • Understand the customer’s environment.
  • Ask the right questions.
  • Investigate issues with analysts.
  • Simplify complex threats.
  • Connect findings to business risk.
  • Advise customers on the next best action.

This role is not about passing information from one team to another. It is about helping customers understand risk and act with confidence.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can understand cyber threats and explain them clearly to customers.

The person should have interest or experience across:

  • Threat Intelligence.
  • Dark web and deep web threats.
  • Credential leaks and stealer logs.
  • Brand impersonation.
  • Data leaks.
  • Infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Attack surface exposures.
  • Cloud and internet-facing risks.
  • AI security risks.
  • Third-party and vendor risks.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, SOC, customer success, technical account management, security consulting, or security operations.
  • Strong understanding of security incidents and business risk.
  • Ability to communicate with both analysts and CISOs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity to investigate and understand threats.
  • Ownership mindset.
  • Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve investigation, summarization, and reporting.

Key Success Metrics

The most important success metric for this role will be:

Number of successful incidents triaged and reported to customers.

Other metrics include:

  • Number of critical incidents proactively communicated.
  • Number of incidents acknowledged or actioned by customers.
  • Quality of customer-ready incident summaries.
  • Quality of weekly incident reviews.
  • Customer feedback from CISOs and security teams.
  • Adoption of relevant CloudSEK modules and workflows.
  • Contribution to renewals and expansions through demonstrated value.

A successful Customer Threat Advisor ensures that every assigned customer clearly understands:
