What is this role all about?
We are looking for a Product Manager who has hands-on experience in building banking, fintech or financial technology products from a SaaS or technology environment.
You will own products across the entire product lifecycle from understanding the problem and defining the product to working with Engineering and Technology teams to build, launch and continuously improve the product .
We are particularly looking for candidates who have built Loan Origination Systems (LOS) or lending products . Candidates from banking/financial institutions with strong product-building experience are also welcome.
What will you be doing?
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle , problem discovery, product definition, development, launch and iteration.
- Build and manage banking/fintech products and systems , translating business problems into scalable technology solutions.
- Work closely with Engineering, Technology, Design, Business and Operations teams to conceptualise and build products.
- Define product vision, roadmap, requirements and priorities based on customer and business needs.
- Deep dive into existing banking/financial processes and identify opportunities to digitise, automate and improve them .
- Design and build end-to-end product workflows, system capabilities and customer journeys .
- Create detailed PRDs, user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria and product specifications .
- Work closely with engineering teams throughout development to clarify requirements, resolve dependencies and ensure successful delivery.
- Understand and work with APIs, integrations, third-party systems and backend workflows required to build financial products.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to identify pain points, validate solutions and translate them into product requirements.
- Track product adoption, performance and feedback and continuously improve the product.
- Own prioritisation and trade-offs across business impact, customer experience, technical feasibility and time-to-market .
What are we looking for?
- 2–6 years of Product Management experience in Banking, FinTech, Lending or B2B SaaS.
- Strong experience in building products/systems , rather than only managing customer journeys or business processes.
- Experience working closely with Engineering and Technology teams to build and launch products end-to-end .
- Strong understanding of banking systems, financial products, lending workflows and digital banking .
- Hands-on experience building an LOS / Loan Origination / Lending platform is highly preferred.
- Candidates from SaaS/FinTech companies building products for banks, NBFCs or financial institutions are strongly preferred.
- Candidates from banks/NBFCs/financial institutions with strong product development and technology exposure are also welcome.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into product requirements and scalable system solutions .
- Good understanding of APIs, integrations, system workflows and technical architecture .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high ownership and ambiguity.
