About the role
As a Fullstack Engineer (f/m/d) you'll play an important role in building our product at Zenjob. Working across the full stack, including event-driven backend services and user-facing interfaces, you'll collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders and contribute to our engineering standards along the way. How you will contribute
- Develop and own features end-to-end, from technical proposal to production deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Build and evolve backend services and frontend applications using TypeScript and Java, leveraging gRPC as our primary service communication protocol.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business, product and data to deliver high-value, high-reliability features.
- Contribute to continuous value delivery by caring about quality and helping improve our engineering practices.
- Take part in architectural and process discussions, bringing your perspective to decisions that affect the team.
- Support your fellow engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing, contributing to a culture of learning and feedback.
- Help improve our tooling, documentation, and shared libraries to make contributing across the codebase easier.

- You have consistently contributed to impactful initiatives, owning feature development end-to-end, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- You can debug effectively and make use of available instrumentation, logging, and tracing to find and fix issues in production.
- You are collaborative and communicative, able to articulate trade-offs and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You are self-driven and outcome-oriented, able to take features from ambiguity to delivery with some guidance.
- You take ownership of your work while staying open to input and collaboration.
- You are empathetic and inclusive, with an understanding of the different roles and functions within a product engineering team.
