Your role

We are looking for an experienced Packaging Designer to join our creative team and work closely with other designers, the Photo Studio, Product Development, Marketing and the Lead of Design.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and executing Sunday Natural’s packaging design across different product categories and international markets. You will make sure that our corporate identity, values, vision and mission are consistently translated into high-quality packaging solutions.

This is a mid to senior-level position for a proactive, hands-on designer with strong critical thinking skills, excellent technical knowledge in print production and the ability to take full ownership of projects from concept to final print-ready artwork. We are looking for someone who can work independently, solve problems before they become blockers and deliver flawless final artwork with a high level of accuracy.

You will:

  • Design and care for packaging across different product categories and international markets
  • Develop packaging concepts that are aligned with Sunday Natural’s corporate identity and brand standards
  • Own packaging projects from briefing to final print-ready artwork
  • Prepare flawless final artwork and production files for print, ensuring technical accuracy and consistency
  • Conduct pre- and post-production quality checks
  • Review and improve existing packaging layouts, systems and workflows
  • Collaborate with internal departments to conceptualise and execute creative solutions that can be translated across different packaging formats and media platforms
  • Work closely with suppliers, printers and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality production results
  • Guide and advise fellow employees in both the creative and technical process to foster stronger working relationships and solutions
  • Submit creative deliverables within the agreed deadline
  • Produce mockups and visualizations of packaging for internal presentations, website use and production alignment
  • Proactively identify design, production or workflow issues and propose practical solutions
  • Creatively seek out AI solutions and implement them into the workflow where relevant

Your profile

  • You have a degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communication, Media Design or an equivalent qualification
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Graphic Design, Packaging Design or a similar field
  • You bring a strong portfolio of successful packaging projects that have been produced and published in the past
  • You have excellent knowledge of packaging design, print production, materials, finishes, dielines and final artwork preparation
  • You work flawlessly with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • You are highly experienced in preparing print-ready files and understand how to avoid technical mistakes before production
  • You are confident working with printers, suppliers and production partners
  • You are proactive, hands-on and able to take ownership of projects from start to finish
  • You have strong creative, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
  • You have a sharp eye for detail and a high standard for quality and consistency
  • You are able to work independently while also being a strong team player
  • You communicate clearly and professionally with designers, stakeholders and external partners
  • You work well with tight deadlines in a team environment
  • You are engaged with AI solutions and already exploring or implementing new technologies to accelerate your workflow
  • You keep informed about the latest trends, materials, packaging innovations and design forecast
  • You are available to travel and follow print production within Europe

Sunday Natural emerged from a long-standing passion and research in the fields of health, healing, and personal growth. The lack of natural, high-quality products on the market was the original motivation for founding Sunday Natural in 2013. We aim to produce the products we ourselves would love to buy – as natural as possible, absolutely pure, free from any additives, and of the highest quality. In a strategic partnership with CVC, Sunday Natural is now one of Germany's most renowned quality manufacturers, with its own research and development department in Berlin. For the continuous improvement of our products, we collaborate with selected research institutes, scientists, therapists, farmers, and professional associations.

We take our ecological responsibility very seriously: that’s why the majority of our product range is vegan. We also take an innovative approach to packaging: most of our products are packaged in glass, making them almost entirely recyclable.

Our diverse team in Berlin consists of over 350 employees from more than 45 nationalities and continues to grow – but at a sustainable pace. Our goal is to foster a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive work environment with a diverse group of motivated, talented, and visionary team members.

We highly value equality of opportunity and inclusivity, and we would like to particularly encourage women and candidates from under-represented backgrounds to apply, even if you don’t match with 100% of the requirements.
