About the Role
A fast-growing, seed-stage enterprise AI platform company in Berlin is looking for a talented Full-Stack Product Engineer to join their small, high-impact engineering team. Founded in 2023 and backed by top-tier investors, the company builds a comprehensive, security-first AI platform that helps organisations securely adopt and integrate generative AI — from everyday chat and workflows to fully custom AI agents — all within a compliant, European-hosted environment.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Berlin. You'll work closely with the Chief Product Officer and cross-functional teammates to own features end-to-end and ship AI-powered capabilities that drive enterprise adoption at scale.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the development of product features across the AI platform, from technical design through to user-facing implementation.
- Build end-to-end solutions spanning frontend (Next.js), backend (Node.js), and database layers.
- Collaborate with the design team and customers to gather insights and iterate on product features.
- Implement user interfaces including full screens, reusable components, and complete user flows.
- Maintain and optimise the codebase for performance and user experience.
- Participate in rotating Support Engineer duties, periodically shifting focus to assist customers and the customer support team alongside the rest of the engineering team.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 2+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
- Proficiency with Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Prisma, tRPC, and Tailwind CSS.
- Proven track record of delivering features end-to-end — from concept to production — in a full-stack environment.
- Experience building AI-powered product features and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
- Experience participating in customer support rotations or directly supporting customers during the product lifecycle.
- Strong collaboration skills; comfortable working closely with a CPO and cross-functional teams to shape product direction.
- Solid Computer Science fundamentals with a growth mindset for rapid learning and adaptation.
- Willingness to work on-site in Berlin, Germany — fully remote arrangements are not available for this role.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: €66,000 – €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Visa sponsorship: Available for eligible candidates.
Location
This role is based on-site in Berlin, Germany. The team works together in person and there is no fully remote option. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to or already be based in Berlin.
