TYTAN Technologies
At TYTAN , we aim to set a global standard in autonomous air defense with AI-driven, cost-efficient systems that counter unmanned aerial threats at scale. We protect people. We protect critical infrastructure. We protect Europe’s sovereignty.
We are looking for a Working Student to join our Growth team and support everything TYTAN communicates outward — across social media, press, and marketing. You will sit at the point where our technology becomes a public message, and you will help shape how TYTAN is seen by media, by the public, and by decision-makers in politics and defence.
Everything we publish is read by journalists, ministries, investors, and competitors. We are looking for someone with the editorial instinct — and the discretion — to work at that level.
Your Roadmap to Make an Impact
- Social Media: Run the day-to-day of TYTAN’s LinkedIn channel. Draft and schedule posts, maintain the editorial calendar, manage the comment section, and keep our voice consistent across every publication.
- Content Production: Turn material from flight tests, the production floor, and events into publishable content — short-form video, photography, and graphics — in line with our corporate identity and our filming and photography policy.
- Media Monitoring: Track coverage of TYTAN, of our competitors, and of the wider Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) and defence-policy debate. Prepare clippings and resonance analyses the team can act on.
- Press Support: Support press work end to end: maintain journalist contact lists, help prepare briefings and one-pagers, and assist in coordinating interviews and incoming inquiries.
- Events: Support our presence at trade fairs, conferences, and stakeholder formats in Munich, Berlin, and Brussels — from content preparation in advance to live coverage on the day.
- Marketing Assets: Help produce and maintain outward-facing collateral, including website copy, newsletters, the media kit, and campaign materials.
- Performance: Report on channel performance, identify what works, and bring your own proposals for what we should do differently.
- Currently enrolled as a student (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field
- Demonstrable hands-on social media skill — you have run channels yourself and can show us the work, not only describe it
- Excellent writing: you produce clean, publishable copy that needs editing, not rewriting
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Editorial judgement and discretion: you understand that in defence and politics a single careless post becomes a problem for the entire company, and you know what not to publish
- Genuine interest in security and defence policy and in the political debate around European sovereignty
- Confident with content and design tools (e.g. Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, LinkedIn analytics, scheduling and video editing tools)
- Availability of approximately 20 hours per week during the semester, on-site in Munich, for a minimum of six months
Why TYTAN?
- Build technology with real operational impact: Develop autonomous defence systems designed to protect lives and strengthen Europe’s security
- Shape scalable defence capabilities: Work on solutions built for mass deployment, cost efficiency, resilience, and reliable production at scale
- Contribute to networked air defence: Help integrate our systems into multi-layered defence architectures alongside sensors, command systems, and effectors
- Develop for real-world operations: Build capabilities together with end users and improve them continuously based on direct operational feedback
- Move fast and take ownership: Work in a focused, high-performance team where decisions are made quickly and individual contributions have immediate impact
- Define a new generation of defence technology: Join early and help shape the products, engineering standards, culture, and direction of a fast-growing deep-tech company
- Work with an international mission-driven team: Collaborate with experienced specialists united by the goal of creating sovereign and effective security capabilities for Europe
Our Benefits
- Monthly allowances: €68/month in flexible benefits including lunch discounts and EGYM Wellpass or shopping credit
- Regular health care events: Health check-ups, skin screenings, mental health workshops, and an annual vitamin infusion on us
- Referral bonus: Earn a reward when someone you refer joins the team
- Regular team events: On- and off-site activities to connect and celebrate together
- Corporate discounts: Exclusive employee discounts across a wide range of partner brands
- Flexibility : Flexible working hours and hybrid work model, plus a modern Munich office built for focus and collaboration
