About the Team: Mitigation Platform 

The Mitigation Platform at Wise is dedicated to enhancing the scalability, efficiency, and quality of Wise Operations. Our mission is to:

• Develop a robust framework for generating and distributing work across all operations, ensuring tasks are assigned to the right person at the right time.
• Create tools and frameworks that empower teams to design their specific workflows, accelerating time to market and offering customizable complexity.
• Establish a comprehensive reference for a 360-degree view of customer data, enabling our operations to swiftly identify and address issues.

Our squad consists of approximately 30 skilled professionals, organized into three cross-functional teams, all focused on reducing handling time, increasing automation, and minimizing friction through innovative technology.

About the Role:

As the Product Manager in Mitigation Platform, you will lead a dynamic, cross-functional team dedicated to standardizing and elevating our operational workflows. Your goal is to equip Wise’s operational teams with out-of-the-box solutions and actionable data insights so they can serve our customers efficiently and consistently. You will own the solutions for case and document request lifecycle management, customer communication tools, and the agent-facing platforms needed to swiftly resolve customer-impacting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead Servicing improvements by setting the product direction and aligning engineering, design, and operations within Mitigation Platform.
• Provide strategic direction while being hands-on in project leadership and execution. Own the product roadmap and define KPIs/OKRs for your team.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Analytics, Data Science, Operations, and Compliance teams to integrate improvements across the product lifecycle.
• Oversee the execution of key projects, including decreasing friction for customers, automating reviews and assisting agents making the right decisions in reviews.

• Being a key connection between global and regional product teams and operational teams. Interacting with almost all product teams at Wise, gaining a deep understanding of all of our products.

A couple of skills that might describe you as a PM:

• You have proven experience in building products at scale – You’ve worked on a product with thousands or even millions of customers. You’re able to navigate the product and organisational complexity of a product at scale.
• You have leadership experience – You’ve led product teams before, and have experience hiring and growing the team.
• You’re hands on – You thrive as a player-coach. You are able to operate at many levels of detail, flipping between executing as an individual contributor and leading a wider team. You have a superpower as an individual contributor, whether it’s going deep on data analysis, design, regulations or engineering.
• You’re data-driven – You are able to self-serve with data, and use it to both identify opportunities and measure your impact. You can get the entire company behind you by telling stories with data.
• You’re an AI-augmented PM – You don’t just build products; you know how to use AI to build them faster. You actively leverage LLMs and AI tools to synthesize vast amounts of user research, summarize complex regulatory documents, write SQL queries to self-serve data, and rapidly prototype ideas. You use AI to move faster and smarter without waiting on engineering.
• You have fresh ideas - You don’t accept the status quo, but are interested in solving problems in novel ways. You are able to communicate the impact of those ideas and formulate plans to implement them
