Job Specification:
Performing PYQ analysis, listing test-wise topics and questions, making questions or allocating them to freelancers, reviewing questions and their model answers, finalizing the paper in print-ready format. Evaluating and reviewing evaluated copies for quality.
Job Purpose:
Psychology Optional & GS Content Creation & Review, Evaluation & Review of Evaluation
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Making/Reviewing Questions & Reviewing Evaluation related to Psychology Optional & General Studies for UPSC Mains Examination.
Specific Knowledge & Skills
- Strong conceptual clarity in Psychology optional syllabus (paper 1 & 2).
- Ability to incorporate psychological theories, experiments, and real-life applications.
- Understanding of UPSC writing demand and answer structuring.
- Given at least two UPSC Mains/one Interview.
- Masters in Psychology preferred.
Major KRA
- Identifying trends and analyzing UPSC Psychology optional paper pattern.
- Identifying topics and types of questions.
- Framing questions meeting UPSC standards and conceptual demand.
- Preparing detailed answers with examples, experiments, case-based structure where relevant.
- Reviewing answers for enrichment, structure, and demand fulfilment.
- Proofreading: improving terminology usage, removing errors, grammar correction.
- Finalizing the paper: ensuring print-ready and online-ready format.
- Reviewing evaluated copies for evaluation quality and uniformity.
Qualification and Experience
Minimum Qualification
- Should have written at least 2 UPSC CSE Mains with Psychology as optional.
- Should have appeared for at least one interview in UPSC CSE.
Preferred/Additional Qualification
- Subject experience of Psychology.

- UPSC CSE Mains Students (GS + Psychology Optional)
Relevant/Additional Experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity, etc.
