TEAM OVERVIEW

The EMEA Regional Finance Team serves as the strategic and operational finance partner for KKR’s offices and operating entities across EMEA. Our team supports regional leadership by managing budgets and forecasts which helps drive strategic decision making with valuable financial insights, provide regional entity governance and oversight of statutory, regulatory & tax requirements and implement and maintain systems to ensure accuracy of financial data, processes & controls. Working closely with the wider KKR organization and global Finance team, we also contribute to firmwide initiatives by incorporating regional requirements and supporting business development efforts as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

KKR's EMEA Finance team is seeking a highly motivated, commercially minded and detail-oriented finance professional to join its Finance team based in Gurugram. This role will support the EMEA Finance function, partnering closely with the London and Gurugram Finance team, global FP&A colleagues in the US and local EMEA leadership and deal teams. The success candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and enhancing key finance deliverables in the following areas:

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Management Reporting & Business Partnering

  • Assist with the production of quarterly consolidated EMEA management reporting packs, including P&L analysis, business line reporting, AuM, monetization’s and Deployments and other key metrics and additional management analytics.
  • Preparation and review of OPEX reporting, including coordination with offshore support teams and local finance stakeholders.
  • Prepare quarterly reporting for strategy heads, presenting key performance metrics and revenue variances by deal and fund, with clear commentary on drivers of performance against budget and prior periods.
  • Support the preparation of EMEA annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range financial models across business lines, profit centres, cost centres and legal entities.
  • Prepare and review detailed variance analysis across revenues, expenses, deployment and monetization’s, allocations and other key financial metrics, providing clear commentary on drivers, trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Support the EMEA forecasting process by preparing accurate financial inputs, analysis and commentary for submission to senior EMEA leadership.
  • Partnering with the deal teams, London Finance and central FPA teams in order to provide timely and accurate analytics to support business decision-making by regional senior management.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly Board Packs on legal entity financial management information packs for senior stakeholders, including expense analysis.
  • Support the EMEA CFO with ad hoc analysis, regional finance priorities, cost management initiatives and strategic projects requiring strong financial judgement and cross-functional coordination.
  • Track, monitor and report to Business heads on expenses, cost allocations and business performance metrics to support cost management and financial discipline across the region.
  • Develop dashboards, analytical models and reporting templates to improve visibility of expenses, KPIs, trends and business performance.

Financial Accounting & Audits

  • Prepare and support month-end and year-end close processes, under both local GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, across several management companies inclusive of posting and reviewing journals, performing and documenting key profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations, IFRS 2 share-based payment accounting charges, and revenue recognition activities.
  • Maintaining strong internal controls and documentation relating to these financial accounting processes.
  • Reconciliations between KKR’s ledgers and those of its local service providers for certain EMEA management companies.
  • Support the Gurugram and London Finance team to fulfil regulatory filing obligations, Finance Board pack report and audits where required for EMEA management companies.
  • Prepare Financial statements under local jurisdictional languages and in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS accounting standards under Corporate and consolidated structures.
  • Provide deliverables to the UK finance team and various external audit teams across EMEA relating to interim and annual statutory audits.
  • Address internal audit queries and support the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Prepare Supporting Accounting Memos for external auditors and Shareholders.
  • Arrange the appropriate documentation required for financial statements to be signed and filed.

Project Management, Systems, Data & Process Improvement

  • Support the design, enhancement and automation of Finance reporting processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, OneStream or similar reporting platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual reporting, improve data quality, reduce process inefficiencies and strengthen controls.
  • Assist the EMEA CFO and senior Finance leadership with the project management of regional and global Finance initiatives, including reporting enhancements, systems implementation, process redesign and operating model improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Qualified chartered accountant with ~5 years post-qualified experience;
  • Relevant experience in FP&A, management reporting, financial control, corporate finance or business finance, ideally within financial services, asset management, private equity, investment banking or a large global corporate environment.
  • Experience preparing senior management packs, executive-level financial analysis, KPI reporting and clear commentary for senior stakeholders. Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to convert financial analysis into concise, executive-ready materials.
  • Experience in entity controllership consisting of ownership of month-end and year-end close – journal entries, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Statutory accounts preparation and audit support (liaising with external auditors and managing PBC lists)
  • Proven experience in tax compliance coordination (VAT, corporation tax filings, withholding tax)
  • Proven ability to work with external service providers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on accuracy, completeness, documentation and review discipline.
  • Advanced Excel capability, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data tables, scenario modelling, structured templates and large dataset manipulation. Inclusive of practical experience using Excel to automate, standardize and improve finance processes, including Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA/macros, dynamic arrays, advanced charting and model audit controls.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, OneStream or comparable ERP/EPM/reporting platforms.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple deliverables, deadlines and stakeholder requests across recurring reporting cycles.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across geographies and manage inputs from local, offshore and global teams.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to challenge constructively, explain financial results clearly and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity and sound judgement when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Proactive, innovative and willing to take ownership of process improvements while maintaining strong execution discipline.
  • Comfort using AI-powered tools to improve productivity and quality of work
  • Curiosity about and openness to adopting emerging AI technologies in day-to-day workflows
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and relevance
