Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager with 3-6 years of experience to drive product definition, execution, and innovation at TartanHQ. You will be responsible for the complete product lifecycle—from research and PRD creation to sprint execution, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and a balance between speed and excellence.

  • UAT bug discovery: 95%+
  • Critical issue RCA: within 24 hours

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Your week involves: writing and refining PRDs, attending sprint planning and reviews, conducting user research or interviews, reviewing features in UAT, analyzing product metrics, collaborating with engineering on technical constraints, and managing roadmap discussions. You'll work in 2-week sprints with continuous stakeholder engagement.

Core Responsibilities

Product Definition & Execution (50% time allocation)

  • Conduct user research and competitive analysis
  • Write clear, actionable Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)
  • Deliver 3 high-quality PRDs per sprint
  • Own sprint execution with <5% spillover
  • Partner with engineering and design on implementation
  • Ensure 95%+ bug discovery during UAT
  • Maintain 100% documentation readiness at release

Client Experience & Quality (25% time allocation)

  • Monitor feature usage and customer feedback
  • Provide RCA within 24 hours for critical issues
  • Provide RCA within 72 hours for general issues
  • Recommend workflow optimizations
  • Deliver 1 feature improvement per sprint
  • Track and communicate product health

Innovation (25% time allocation)

  • Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new ideas
  • Deliver 1 POC per sprint
  • Propose 1 improvement idea per sprint
  • Identify opportunities for product differentiation
  • Drive innovation roadmap initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of Product Management experience
  • B.Tech/B.E degree
  • Proven experience writing PRDs and managing sprints
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to analyze user behavior and product metrics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience working with engineering, design, and QA teams
