Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Support enterprise-wide FP&A activities by delivering financial and operational insights across multiple business segments, clients, industries, and service lines within a technology staffing and professional services environment.
• Perform detailed analysis of revenue, gross margin, productivity, workforce deployment, utilization, and pricing trends to identify business opportunities, risks, and profitability drivers.
• Develop and maintain recurring financial and operational reporting packages for leadership teams, providing actionable insights on business performance, resource productivity, client profitability, and key operational metrics.
• Analyze workforce-related performance indicators including resource deployment, project onboarding and offboarding trends, billable utilization, labor mix, and productivity metrics to support business decision-making.
• Monitor pricing realization, margin performance, and profitability drivers across clients, industry verticals, business units, and delivery organizations, highlighting revenue leakage and margin improvement opportunities.
• Perform client, portfolio, and industry-level revenue analysis by leveraging operational and financial data to identify growth trends, concentration risks, and performance variances.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes by partnering with business leaders to develop revenue, gross margin, operating expense, headcount, and profitability forecasts.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis comparing Actuals vs Budget, Forecast, Prior Year, and Strategic Plan, providing root-cause analysis and business recommendations.
• Partner with department leaders and cost center owners to monitor operating expenses, track budget adherence, identify spending trends, and evaluate cost optimization opportunities.
• Prepare executive-level performance summaries and management reporting packages highlighting key business drivers, operational performance, financial risks, and emerging trends.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by validating financial results, reconciling reporting outputs, and ensuring consistency across management reporting platforms.
• Analyze customer, industry, and business unit performance to provide recommendations around resource utilization, operational efficiency, and revenue growth opportunities.
• Support strategic initiatives including reporting transformation, process optimization, automation, dashboard development, and continuous improvement projects.
• Participate in ad-hoc business analysis, executive requests, profitability assessments, and data-driven decision support initiatives.

Qualification

• CA/CMA/MBA with relevant years of experience in finance
• Relevant years of hands-on FP&A experience (budgeting, forecasting and analysis)
• Proficient in Hyperion (Planning, HFM, Smart View), Enterprise Reporting Mart Excel Add-ins, PeopleSoft/Workday/SAP, Salesforce CRM, Advanced Excel, Slicers, Power Query, SQL
