Overview

The E-learning Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering high-quality, interactive digital learning experiences. This role collaborates closely with Instructional Designers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and multimedia teams to translate technical and process knowledge into engaging, learner-centric modules. The position primarily focuses on development using Articulate Storyline 360 while ensuring scalability, consistency, and alignment with business and training objectives.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and develop interactive e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline 360 with strong focus on learner engagement and usability
  • Collaborate with SMEs and Instructional Designers to analyze requirements and develop effective learning strategies
  • Develop and integrate multimedia elements including graphics, animation, video, audio, and simulations
  • Apply UI/UX best practices to ensure consistency in branding, navigation, and overall learner experience
  • Support classroom, virtual classroom, and blended learning programs with digital assets and courseware
  • Perform end-to-end quality assurance including functionality testing, content validation, and SCORM compliance
  • Troubleshoot course issues related to Storyline, LMS compatibility, and publishing
  • Manage multiple deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations
  • Drive standardization through reusable templates, frameworks, and development best practices

Mandatory Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, Instructional Design, or related field
  • 4–6+ years of experience in e-learning development
  • Advanced hands-on expertise in Articulate Storyline 360 (mandatory)
  • Deep understanding of Storyline features including triggers, variables, layers, and states
  • Experience in developing interactive, scenario-based, and simulation-driven content
  • Proficiency in handling multimedia elements (audio, video, animations) within learning modules
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills in a global environment
  • Ability to independently manage tasks, priorities, and project deliverables

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Exposure to additional authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise, Camtasia)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript for customization
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms (SABA, Cornerstone, etc.) and SCORM/xAPI standards
  • Understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning theories
  • Experience in template development and scalable content production
  • Awareness of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.2, Section 508 compliance)
  • Exposure to emerging technologies such as AI-driven content creation
