Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality. Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet the demand.
  • Lead cross-functional team to drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (i.e. engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers, Supplier Account Management, fulfillment)
  • Ensure timely creation and execution of transfer orders (TOs).
  • Validate lane availability and logistics readiness before initiating transfers.
  • Drive purchasing activities to execute purchase at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
  • Lead inventory and E&Z reduction efforts
  • Manage and lead assigned Purchasing Projects (i.e. Manage cost, schedule, and scope as required)
  • Manage complex and sensitive information with supplier leadership team and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to purchasing process improvement within the team and Act as trainer for department purchasing activities .
  • Act as a key liaison between supply planning, logistics, warehousing, and operations teams.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 -12 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, competition in the marketplace
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects and build consensus, as needed
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of inventory management, transfer orders, and logistics processes.
