Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join the engineering team responsible for delivering business-critical Salesforce capabilities. In this role, you will collaborate with a high-performing engineering team during an exciting phase of growth, building scalable solutions that support Autodesk's vision to imagine, design, and create a better world.

Working closely with Architects, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise Salesforce solutions that support critical business processes. This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru, India, reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Partner with Architects, Principal Engineers, and cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality Salesforce capabilities
  • Develop complex custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Configure and customize Salesforce using declarative tools such as Flows while applying platform best practices
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), middleware, and integration frameworks
  • Develop scalable data models, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes, and data migration solutions
  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Manage Salesforce deployments across multiple environments while ensuring smooth releases and minimal disruption
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, data models, technical specifications, and release documentation
  • Monitor and optimize Salesforce application performance through code optimization, query tuning, and performance analysis
  • Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities, platform features, and industry trends to recommend continuous improvements
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, administrators, business analysts, and project managers to successfully deliver complex projects
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and Gainsight, ensuring reliable and scalable data synchronization
  • Develop Salesforce solutions that support Gainsight Customer Success use cases using Apex, Platform Events, Flows, Salesforce APIs, and Gainsight connectors
  • Implement real-time and batch integrations while ensuring data integrity and system reliability
  • Use Git and industry-standard source control practices to support collaborative software development

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Salesforce Developer certification, such as Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
  • 5–8 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations
  • Experience implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions and supporting sales business processes
  • Experience delivering complex Salesforce Sales Cloud implementations
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative development
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, enterprise data management, and data migration
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices, architecture, and design patterns
  • Experience designing and developing integrations between Salesforce and Gainsight
  • Experience working with Salesforce APIs, Platform Events, Flows, and integration technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II certification
  • Experience working with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, or Customer Success platforms
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using middleware solutions such as MuleSoft or similar technologies
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments
  • Familiarity with cloud-native application architecture and enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms
