About the Role:
We are looking for a software engineer to join CrowdStrike's global TechOps CICD Software Delivery Automation (SDA) team. You will collaborate with a high-performing, cross-functional team to design, build, and optimize CI/CD workflows that power software delivery for millions of customers worldwide. This role focuses on CI/CD pipeline reliability, developer experience, and automation at enterprise scale.
What You'll Do:
- Design & Build: Develop scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions using modern DevOps toolchains
- Developer Experience: Create self-service tools and frameworks within the CI/CD space that reduce developer toil and accelerate delivery cycles
- Reliability Engineering: Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for our owned services
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to establish best practices and provide technical guidance through pipeline creation and optimization.
What You'll Need:
Required Qualifications
- Programming Skills: Strong coding abilities using an OOP language (i.e. Python, Java, Groovy, or GO)
- 6+ years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on software development.
- CI/CD Expertise: Hands-on experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms within an enterprise environment.
- Containerization: Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure services and architecture patterns
- Version Control: SCM experience including advanced Git workflows and branching strategies (Bitbucket, Gitlab)
Preferred Qualifications
- Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Logscale)
- Experience with GitOps methodologies (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Experience with IaC solutions such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
