The role
Our mission is to make GoCardless the best way to pay and be paid. Our ambition is to dramatically enhance payment performance and safeguard our customers from negative outcomes, such as payment failures. You will build our "payment success" products, powered by AI and machine learning, leveraging GoCardless's vast network data to create self-learning systems that solve complex customer challenges.
Our existing Success+ Product is already one of the key reasons why customers choose GoCardless. This helps customers intelligently recover failed payments with smart retries. Using our proprietary data and cutting edge approaches to Data Science, our merchants end up with more payments successfully completing than with our competitors. This means more money in their bank accounts. You will need to set the strategy for GoCardless in this critical area, and be able to communicate complex concepts in clear ways for a range of audiences including execs, stakeholders, and our customers.
What You'll Do
- Own the Product Vision: Define and drive the strategic roadmap.
- Champion our Customers: Translate deep insights into customer needs and cutting-edge, data-driven solutions.
- Drive the Data Flywheel: Partner with our Data Platform teams to build the foundational data layer that powers continuous, network-wide performance improvements.
- Empower the Frontline: Enable our sales and support teams to clearly articulate and position the competitive strength of our Success+ product.

Base salary range: €46,400 - 69,600
Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
