Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money.

Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.

For everyone, everywhere.

More about our mission and what we offer

As a financial technology company moving billions of USD of customer money across 70+ countries, Wise is growing fast — and so is our ambition. For us to continue to offer the best products to our customers and scale, we need both sharper insight on the world around us (the size of our market, the corridors we operate in, and how we stack up against our peers) and rigorous, forward-looking visibility into our own performance.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Finance Manager to join our Performance Insights team within FP&A, reporting into the Senior Finance Manager. This is a hybrid role, split roughly 50:50 between core reporting and forecasting for the Wise Group and external strategic insight. You'll help shape both the narrative we tell about Wise's financial performance internally, and the analytical foundation that helps us understand our place in the market. You'll be joining a close-knit team of five (including your manager), where your work will directly inform Board papers, investor conversations, and leadership decisions at the highest level.

This is a new role, created because the work matters and the demand for it is growing. You'll have real ownership from day one.

Your mission:

I. Core Reporting & Forecasting (~50%)

  • Support the rolling forecast process (FP&A) — contribute to the group forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with our strategic objectives
  • Contribute to the long-range financial plan — support the 5-year forecast process, helping to identify opportunities for improvement and refinement
  • Play a key role in the Monthly Finance Review (MFR) — prepare materials and provide insightful analysis on financial performance for senior stakeholders
  • Support Finance Transformation & Strategic Projects — contribute to cross-functional initiatives impacting forecasts, including process redesign and the implementation of new planning tools or methodologies
  • Craft insightful materials for the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors, clearly communicating our financial outlook and growth strategy

II. External Strategic Insight (~50%)

  • Produce regular competitor benchmarking reporting — build and maintain a rigorous, repeatable view of how Wise performs relative to its key Fintech peers across financial and operational metrics
  • Collaborate on our internal and competitor valuation models — develop and maintain sophisticated valuation models for Wise and our competitors, keeping them current and decision-ready
  • Drive market sizing and share insight — maintain and evolve our view of the total addressable market across key cross-currency corridors, working closely with our external data partners
  • Support Board Strategy papers — provide the insight, analysis and recommendations that help our most senior leaders make well-informed strategic decisions
  • Partner with the Investor Relations team — providing data, competitor context, and benchmarking support for quarterly Trading Updates and external analyst presentations
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and deep dives — respond to requests from the Leadership Team with rigorous, well-structured analysis that cuts through complexity

Our Finance team is spread across the globe, but primarily based in London and Tallinn — so expect plenty of video calls. You'll be a key voice in shaping both how Wise forecasts its own future and how it understands its external environment.

A bit about you

You're analytically sharp, commercially curious, and you know how to turn complex data into a clear story. You're comfortable working with senior stakeholders and you don't get lost in the weeds — you know what matters and you focus your energy there. You're equally happy rolling up your sleeves on a forecast cycle as you are working through ad hoc strategic papers.

Experience & background:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a relevant field — strategic FP&A, corporate finance or investment banking would all be ideal. We are open to other backgrounds provided you bring the technical modelling depth this role requires.
  • You're highly proficient in complex financial modelling — this is non-negotiable. You can build and manage integrated models from scratch.
  • You have experience contributing to forecasting and/or planning cycles (rolling forecasts, long-range plans, monthly performance reviews), including continuous improvement of processes.
  • You have experience with competitor benchmarking and market analysis, ideally in a fast-moving, multinational environment.
  • A relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA) is preferred — but if you can demonstrate the technical skills we're looking for, we're open to hearing from you regardless.

Skills:

  • Strong prioritisation instincts — you know the difference between what's important and what's just noise, and you act accordingly. This matters especially in a hybrid role where you'll be juggling forecast deadlines alongside strategic deep dives.
  • Excellent communication skills — you'll be working directly with Senior Finance Directors and VPs, so you need to be clear, confident and credible.
  • Ability to express complex concepts simply — whether in a slide, a model or a conversation.
  • Strong stakeholder management — you can bring people on the journey and influence without authority.
  • A genuine commitment to your own growth and development, and a desire to help more junior team members grow too.

Bonus points if you have:

  • SQL and/or BI tool experience (e.g. Anaplan, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience in leveraging AI tools for financial analysis
  • Experience working with external data providers or market intelligence platforms
  • Company valuation experience (DCF, comparable company analysis, etc.)
  • Worked in or alongside an Investor Relations function
  • Experience in a high-growth tech or financial services environment

£68,000-£90,000

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.

Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
