We are looking for a Platform Engineer (DevOps / DataOps) to build, automate, and operate our enterprise data and AI platform. The role focuses on creating and operating a secure, scalable, and self-service cloud platform that enables data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and application teams to deliver business value efficiently.
While experience with data platforms is beneficial, the primary focus is on platform engineering principles, cloud infrastructure, automation, governance, and operational excellence. The preferred cloud platform is Microsoft Azure, although experience with AWS is equally valued.
You will work closely with (enterprise) architects, automation teams, data engineers, and product teams to establish a modern platform operating model based on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud-native services, and platform self-service capabilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure/Policy as Code using tools such as Terraform;
- Develop reusable platform services and self-service capabilities for engineering teams;
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud resources;
- Establish platform automation standards and engineering guardrails;
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform and application deployments;
- Implement monitoring, observability, alerting, and operational dashboards;
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Academic Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field;
- +3 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering;
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture principles;
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred) or AWS;
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred);
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines;
- Strong knowledge of Git-based development workflows;
- Lakehouse experience (e.g., Databricks, MS Fabric, Snowflake) is a plus;
- Understanding of networking, security, identity management, and cloud operations;
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Fluent English communication skills.
