At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
Snowflake's AI Native Engineering (FDE) Operations organization is seeking a Business Operations Manager, Ops AI & Tooling to build the operating engine of the business. Rather than operating in team-aligned silos, this function aligns to the entire business, specializing in a unique swimlane with a deep cross-functional mindset and flow. In short: this team builds the operating engine — think leverage.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, Services Global Operations. You will build the internal operational tools that plan and run the business, own the automation and AI agents that eliminate manual work, and set the roadmap and tooling strategy that the operations team and broader FDE business use to operate. If you're a builder at heart — equally comfortable defining a roadmap and shipping the automation behind it — this is where you'll have outsized impact.
In This Role, You Will:
- Own Tooling Strategy & Roadmap: Define and own the operational tooling strategy and roadmap — the intake, prioritization, and release plan for the internal tools that run the business.
- Build Business Planning & Operating Tools: Design and build the internal tools that plan and run the business, partnering with the Business Planning and Commercial Ops functions to turn their processes into scalable systems.
- Automate Workflows: Build workflow automation across staffing, planning, forecasting, and reporting to remove manual effort and increase speed and accuracy.
- Develop AI Agents for Operational Workflows: Design and deploy AI agents and GenAI-powered workflows for operational use cases — anomaly detection, staffing intelligence, predictive forecasting, and automated summaries.
- Drive Cross-System Integration & Orchestration: Architect and maintain integration and process orchestration across the operations tech stack (e.g., PSA, CRM, planning, and BI tools), ensuring clean data flow and system integrity.
- Own Tool Adoption, Standards & Optimization: Drive adoption, define standards, and continuously optimize the tooling portfolio — measuring usage, retiring redundancy, and improving the operator experience.
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Serve as the tooling and automation advisor to the operations leadership team, Enterprise Technology, and the Data, Analytics & AI teams, translating business needs into scalable systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years (IC4) or 10+ years (IC5) of experience in business operations, ops tooling/systems, revenue operations, or professional services operations, with a strong build orientation.
- Proven track record designing and shipping internal operational tools, workflow automation, or agentic/AI workflows.
- Hands-on experience with automation and integration across systems such as Salesforce, Certinia/FinancialForce, Smartsheet, and BI tools; comfort using SQL and coding/coding agents to solve problems.
- Demonstrated fluency with GenAI and LLMs to automate operational workflows and accelerate insight generation.
- Expertise in workflow design, systems architecture, and data governance, with a bias toward simplifying complex processes.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence without authority. (IC5: expected to set direction and drive org-wide initiatives independently.)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
