Opening 1: Corporate tax intern and international tax

Assisting in the business advisory solutions which includes:

• Advising on the tax implications to the group basis international tax treaties between countries and also local laws of various countries
• Business Agreement review and inter-company agreement review to provide comments from a tax/regulatory/transfer pricing risk/efficiency standpoint in consideration of the relevant double taxation Avoidance Agreement
• Structuring various transactions from tax perspective
• Assisting the group with the mergers and acquisition transactions
• Exploring various tax benefits/tax refunds to the group
• Global entities re-structuring
• Advising from tax perspective on global mobility of employees

Litigation

• Assisting in representation of the group in the global tax litigations
• Assisting in assessment proceedings submissions, drafting the tax appeal, and representing before appellate authorities pertaining to proceedings of the group
• Addressing time to time tax notices received by the group globally

Compliance

• Responsible for the entire tax compliance of the group globally (30 entities and 10 countries presence)
• Focusing on the automation of the compliances
• Preparing the advance tax and income tax computations for all entities of the group for provisioning, audit and income tax return filing purpose on a quarterly basis;
• Facilitate and manage direct tax monthly quarterly and annual compliances for group companies including tax audit and ITR filing
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for completion of audit with regards to taxation
• Follow up with the group companies for effective Tax compliances
• Develop effective tax compliance plan, control procedures for all aspects of tax process and tax calendar
• Preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation and ensure timely compliance of transfer pricing audit
• Preparation of MIS reports with regards to taxations on a monthly basis
• Reconciliation of tax balances with the books

Desired Candidate:

• Experience of 2 years having managed the taxation function
• Good interpersonal, communication and interpersonal skills,
• Can effectively collaborate and do team-work
• Assistance in closing taxation due diligence (on account of investor interest or otherwise)
• Ability to solve problems

Opening 2: GST intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with global GST compliance, including return preparation, data review, and reconciliations.
• Support in handling global GST notices, audits, assessments, and departmental queries.
• Help prepare submissions, replies, and documentation for GST litigation matters.
• Track case status, hearing dates, and compliance deadlines.
• Conduct research on GST law, notifications, circulars, and judicial precedents.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants for tax-related data and follow-ups.
• Business Agreement review
• Structuring various transactions from tax perspective
• Assisting the group with the mergers and acquisition transactions
• Exploring various tax benefits/tax refunds to the group
• Global entities re-structuring
• Advising from tax perspective on global mobility of employees

Preferred Profile

• Prior internship or practical exposure in Indian GST compliance and litigation.
• Familiarity with GST portal processes, return filing, and legal documentation.
• Strong skills in Excel, research, drafting, and attention to detail.
