Role Overview
TartanHQ builds HyperSync (a unified API layer connecting HRMS, ERP, and CRM systems) and HyperVerify (a unified verification platform for KYC, KYB, income, employment, and contact-point checks, used by banks, NBFCs, insurers, and lenders).
We're hiring three Enterprise Solutions & Deal Enablement Associates to sit directly with the solutioning lead, founders and CBO, and become the connective tissue between our enterprise clients and every internal team that has to say "yes" before a deal goes live - Product, Engineering, InfoSec, Legal, and Finance.
This is not a pure sales role and not a pure support role. You will:
- Help scope and move new business opportunities forward with enterprise prospects across travel, employee benefits, BFSI/NBFC and lending, and pension/insurance players.
- Own the internal chase: security questionnaires, MSAs/DPAs, commercial paperwork, technical scoping so deals don't stall waiting on an internal team
- Stay the client's single point of contact through the entire journey, from first solutioning conversation through contracting to go-live, so they never feel dropped between teams
- Bring an end-to-end ownership mindset: if something is blocking a deal or a client, it's your job to notice, chase, and resolve it, not to wait for someone to ask
You'll be working alongside the solutioning lead, founders and CBO on a near-daily basis, so this role has an unusually high amount of visibility and room to grow into a broader BD/solutions leadership track as we scale.
Key Success Metrics (KPIs)
- Deal Cycle Turnaround: Reduce time from first solutioning call to signed contract through proactive internal coordination
- InfoSec/Vendor Questionnaire Turnaround: Coordinated response within 3-7 business days of receipt
- Contract-to-Go-Live Time: < 30 days for standard integrations, tracked jointly with Product/Engineering
- Client Response Time: < 4 hours during business hours for any active deal or account query
- Internal SLA Adherence: 90%+ of InfoSec/Legal/Finance/Product touchpoints closed within agreed internal timelines
- Active Relationships Managed: Ability to concurrently manage 8–12 live deals/accounts without dropped threads
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from both external clients and internal teams (Product, InfoSec, Legal, Finance) on responsiveness and clarity
Key Responsibilities
1. Deal Support & Solutioning (35%)
- Support the leaders through discovery calls, solution walkthroughs, and RFP/RFI responses for enterprise prospects
- Translate client requirements (HRMS/ERP/CRM integration needs, or KYC/KYB/income/employment verification needs) into a clear internal brief for Product/Engineering
- Prepare first-cut proposals, solution decks, sample payloads, and commercial summaries to keep deal momentum going
- Track every open opportunity in a shared pipeline/tracker and flag stalled deals before they go cold
2. Cross-Functional Coordination – InfoSec, Legal, Finance, Product (30%)
- Own the InfoSec review process for prospects (security questionnaires, ISO 27001/ISO 27701/AICPA/DPDP compliance documentation, VAPT reports) in coordination with the infosec teams, chase, don't wait
- Coordinate MSA, DPA, SOW, and NDA drafting and redlines between the client and TartanHQ's legal counsel, keeping a clear track
- Work with Finance on commercial proposals, pricing confirmations, PO tracking, and invoicing setup for new accounts
- Liaise with Product/Engineering to confirm technical feasibility, connector availability, and realistic go-live timelines before commitments are made to clients
3. Client Relationship & Communication (25%)
- Act as the client's primary point of contact through the deal cycle and into early production, so the relationship survives handoffs between internal teams
- Run a regular communication cadence (calls, status emails, WhatsApp where appropriate) with enterprise stakeholders including BFSI, NBFC, travel, insurance and pension-sector clients
- Represent client context accurately back to the leaders and internal teams, no information getting lost in translation
- Identify expansion signals (new use cases, additional endpoints) during ongoing conversations and flag them to the leaders
4. Documentation, Reporting & Process (10%)
- Maintain a single source of truth for every deal's status: commercial, legal, security, and technical via CRM
- Provide the leaders with a clear weekly view of what's moving, what's stuck, and what needs their direct involvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years in a client-facing, coordination-heavy, or B2B support role (sales support, business operations, account management, pre-sales, or similar) - strong freshers with excellent communication will be considered
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Hindi fluency a plus for BFSI/enterprise stakeholder conversations)
- Demonstrated ownership mindset, comfortable chasing multiple internal teams without being told to
- Strong organizational skills; comfortable running trackers/spreadsheets across many parallel deals
- Professional, composed, and articulate when dealing with senior enterprise stakeholders
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment
- Basic working understanding of APIs/integrations sufficient to coordinate (not required to write code)
- Proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel; comfort learning CRM/tracker tools quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to B2B SaaS, fintech, BFSI, or API-first companies (internships count)
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes: security reviews, legal redlines, vendor onboarding
- Exposure to the lending, insurance, travel, or pension ecosystem
- Familiarity with HRIS, accounting / expense tools like Darwinbox, Keka, Greythr, Zoho, Tally, SAP, etc.
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Notion, or similar
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA or equivalent is a plus but not required
What We Look For
- Client-first mindset: Genuinely cares whether the client had a good experience, not just whether the task got closed
- Ownership mentality: Drives things to completion with minimal supervision; treats "not my job" as not an option
- Professional & sincere: Represents TartanHQ credibly in front of senior stakeholders at large enterprises
- Coordination discipline: Can hold 8-10 moving threads at once without dropping any of them
- Composure under pressure: Enterprise deal cycles involve last-minute asks and shifting timelines, stays steady through it
- Growth mindset: This function is being built from scratch; you'll help shape the playbook, not just follow one
