For a data-intensive organization, we are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer who develops and produces predictive AI solutions. You will work on applications such as churn prediction, forecasting and next-best-action and independently set up the necessary data and ML environment for this. Within the organization, you act as a substantive initiator and hands-on specialist.
Responsibilities
- Developing, training and improving predictive ML models.
- Establish scalable data, ETL/ELT, and ML pipelines.
- Processing and analyzing very large datasets.
- Operationalizing, monitoring and periodically enriching models.
- Researching and applying AI agents for data enrichment.
- Determining the technical approach and transferring knowledge.

Requirements
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience within machine learning and data engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in building and operationalizing ML models end-to-end.
- Experience with churn prediction, forecasting, propensity modelling, next-best-action or similar use cases.
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, ETL/ELT, and ML pipelines.
- Experience with AWS.
- Independent, T-shaped profile with sufficient seniority to act as a technical initiator.
Wishes
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, Airflow and MLflow.
- Experience with TensorFlow or similar ML frameworks.
- Experience with AI agents and automated data enrichment.
- Experience within financial services, insurance or any other regulated environment.
