About Warp

Warp is the AI-native Employee Management Platform for ambitious companies. Our platform includes HRIS, payroll, IT, benefits, tax compliance, and more - all built from scratch on an AI-native architecture from day 1.

Warp embeds itself into every part of a company's people operating layer, we process over half a billion $ annually in payroll, on track to grow to $2B.

Legacy vendors in our space built their businesses by profiting from complexity. Warp is built from day one for AI to be the primary operator, not a feature. Every advance in LLM capability widens our lead.

We hire people who ship constantly, own outcomes, and care about craft. If you want to build something that automates an entire category of core work, not just another point solution, this is the place.

We've raised over $85M from top investors like Ashton Kutcher/Sound Ventures, Y Combinator, founders of Dropbox, Replit, SV Angel, and Homebrew Capital. Built by an obsessive team from MIT, Ramp, Brex, Google, Dropbox, Apple, and more.

As a Brand Designer at Warp, you'll be directly responsible for shaping how the world sees us. You'll own our logo and visual identity system, design the graphics that show up in every campaign, deck, and launch, and turn complex financial concepts into visuals people actually want to look at. Working closely with marketing, product, and the founding team, you'll set the visual bar for a company still still early in its story and design the marks and systems that carry Warp as we scale,

We're looking for someone who's obsessed with:

  • Craft. Sharp typography, clean systems, a logo and identity that hold up at any size or surface.
  • Story. Turning complex financial concepts into visuals people actually want to look at.
  • Speed. Shipping polished work fast, without waiting for a perfect brief.
  • Systems. Building the templates, guidelines, and libraries that let the rest of the company move fast without breaking the brand.

What You’ll do

  • Own Warp's logo and visual identity including the marks, systems, and standards that show up across product, marketing, and every customer touchpoint.
  • Design the assets that drive growth. Social posts, landing pages, event posters, and team merch that turn attention into pipeline while keeping the brand consistent.
  • Build the operating system for Brand: guidelines, templates, and asset libraries that let anyone at Warp ship on-brand work fast.
  • Prototype fast. Use design software and AI to test new directions before committing to a final concept.
  • Own the production pipeline from asset handoff to print- and web-ready exports, so design never becomes the bottleneck.
  • Partner directly with marketing, product, and sales to turn briefs into polished visual work that fits the moment.
  • Lead by making. Ship 2–3 brand-defining pieces of work each year—a rebrand element, a campaign identity, a flagship asset—that raise the bar for how Warp looks.
  • Spot the opportunities to sharpen and evolve Warp's visual identity as the company scales, and make the case for the changes that matter.
  • Coordinate with freelancers, print vendors, or production partners when a project needs extra hands.

What you Need

  • 4+ years of experience in brand, graphic, or visual design.
  • Hybrid thinking, someone who thrives at the intersection of craft and speed, brand and business.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating logo design and brand identity work.
  • Strong expertise in design software (pref. Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Startup or digital agency experience.
  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Strong operational instincts. You have a passion for building templates, guidelines, and processes that let the whole company move fast without breaking the brand.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude and are equally excited to push boundaries as you are to ship
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with grace, manage your own timelines, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High agency and the ability to figure things out

Nice to Have

  • Experience with motion graphics or basic animation
  • Familiarity with brand strategy or naming projects
  • Illustration skills
  • An understanding of fintech or B2B product branding
