About the Team + Role
Robinhood is assembling an elite team applying advanced technology to the country's biggest financial challenges. National Impact builds industry-changing products in partnership with the U.S. Government that expands financial access for millions of Americans.
The team launched its debut product, Trump Accounts, as the #1 app in the app store and one of the fastest-growing financial products launched to date. The year ahead is about growing and improving this product while expanding into new verticals where Robinhood can partner with government stakeholders to reach millions more Americans.
As the lead Product Manager for National Impact, you will own 0-1 products end to end, from initial concept through national rollout, shaping how millions of Americans access, understand, and participate in the financial system. You will set both the strategy and the quality bar for one of Robinhood's most visible product lines, where craft translates directly into customer trust. You'll work alongside senior leadership, engineers, designers, researchers, data scientists, and marketers to decide where we play, turn ambiguous regulatory and partnership requirements into straightforward customer experiences, and hold the line on quality through launch.
This is a rare opportunity to drive outsized impact at the intersection of fintech, consumer product, and public-private partnership.
The preferred location for this role is New York, NY, in office a minimum of 3 days per week, with comfort traveling to Washington, DC on a semi-regular basis to work directly with our government partners.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end product for 0-1 launches, from initial concept through national rollout
- Set and execute the product vision and strategy for National Impact, including growing Trump Accounts and identifying the next verticals where a government partnership unlocks financial access at scale
- Lead a team of engineers, designers, researchers, data scientists, marketers, and cross-functional partners to better understand customers, government stakeholders, and the most pressing barriers to financial access
- Set the quality bar — the copy, flows, edge cases, and launch readiness that make complex financial and government workflows feel simple and trustworthy
- Translate ambiguous regulatory, operational, and partnership requirements into clear, dependable customer experiences
- Partner closely with legal, compliance, policy, operations, finance, communications, and external partners so products get built the right way the first time
- Keep teams aligned and moving quickly across product, regulatory, operational, and partnership workstreams, and deliver on time against public commitments
- Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and the reasoning behind them to senior leadership
- Foster a culture of ambition, learning, and iteration through experimentation, customer research, and thinking big
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping high-quality consumer fintech product experiences
- Experience working with 3rd-party partners on large-scale projects to deliver a shared product
- A track record of shipping 0-1 products at scale, beyond prototypes and pilots
- Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into clear strategy, roadmap, and execution plans
- Ability to operate in unclear, 0-1 situations while sustaining a high quality bar under real time pressure
- Experience working with legal, compliance, operations, policy, or other regulated-product stakeholders
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills, with experience influencing across highly cross-functional teams
- Experience using research, experimentation, and product analytics to guide decision making
- Passion for Robinhood's mission to democratize finance for all and excitement about building products that can expand financial access at national scale
