Aufgaben
- Entwicklung und Erweiterung von C++-Modulen innerhalb der Unreal Engine sowie angrenzender Simulationssoftware
- Umsetzung und Integration von Schnittstellenemulatoren und Tools zur Unterstützung der Simulationslösungen
- Performance-Analyse, Profiling und Optimierung bestehender Softwarekomponenten
- Mitwirkung bei der Automatisierung von Buildprozessen, Testing und Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) auf Windows- und Linux-Plattformen
- Zusammenarbeit im interdisziplinären Team zur Weiterentwicklung innovativer Simulationslösungen
- Dokumentation der entwickelten Software und Unterstützung bei der Einhaltung von Entwicklungsprozessen
- Unterstützung bei der Containerisierung und Bereitstellung von Softwarekomponenten in virtualisierten Umgebungen
Qualifikation
- mind. Bachelor-Studiengang Informatik / Softwareentwicklung oder vergleichbar
- Deutsch / Englisch mind. verhandlungssicher
- Berufserfahrung in der Entwicklung von Blueprints und der Unreal Engine, idealerweise inklusive Multiplayer-Programmierung
- Erfahrung mit ffmpeg oder vergleichbaren Multimedia-Frameworks von Vorteil
- Erfahrung mit agilen Entwicklungsmethoden
- Sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse (mindestens C++17, multithreading Applikationen)
- Kenntnisse in Performance-Optimierung, Profiling und Debugging von Unreal Engine
- Sicherer Umgang mit Buildsystemen, CI/CD-Pipelines, automatisiertem Testing sowie
- Containerisierung (z.B. Docker) unter Windows und Linux
