Company & Mission: Palo Alto Networks® is the fastest-growing security company in history. We offer the chance to be part of an important mission: ending breaches and protecting our way of digital life. If you are a motivated, intelligent, creative, and hardworking individual, then this job is for you!

The Role: Reporting to the Sr. Director of Risk & Compliance, you will champion a world-class culture of safety, wellness, and environmental sustainability across our corporate offices, R&D labs, and critical infrastructure facilities in Japan and the Asia-Pacific (JAPAC).

As the Senior EHS Manager for JAPAC, you will own the strategic design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our safety and environmental programs across diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes. You aren't just looking at a checklist; you will be partner-focused, integrating health and safety seamlessly into our dynamic tech culture. In this position, you will lead regional compliance, respond to incidents, manage localized risk, and act as the trusted advisor to senior regional leadership.

Your Impact:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive JAPAC EHS roadmap that aligns with global corporate frameworks while adapting to local country contexts.
  • Establish, track, and report on regional EHS metrics, utilizing data to proactively mitigate risks before they manifest.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with localized legislation across all regional sites, notably the WHS Act and Regulations in Australia and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act in Singapore.
  • Lead regional audit programs and serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities during inspections.
  • Manage EHS vendors, consultants, and budget allocations effectively across the region.
  • Design and scale preventative ergonomics programs optimized for a hybrid tech workforce (both remote and on-site).
  • Partner closely with HR and Workplace Services to embed psychological safety, mental health initiatives, and holistic wellness programs into the workplace culture.
  • Lead investigations into any workplace incidents, ensuring root-cause analysis is conducted and corrective actions are tracked to completion.
  • Partner with Global Security and Crisis Management teams to design regional emergency response, fire safety, and business continuity plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments at existing and new locations annually to ensure safe working environments across the region.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience leading EHS/WHS programs, with at least 3 years managing a multi-country portfolio in the JAPAC region.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working within the technology sector, high-growth corporate environments, or managing a mix of corporate offices and technical spaces (e.g., R&D labs or data centers).
  • Professional certification preferred (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), GradIOSH/CMIOSH, Singapore Registered WSH Officer, or Australian OHS Professional certification).
  • The "Tech" Mindset: Ability to move fast, pivot when necessary, and navigate ambiguity without losing sight of compliance and safety protocols.
  • Cross-Cultural Leadership: Proven track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders (HR, Real Estate, Legal, Engineering) across different cultural nuances in Australia, India, Singapore, and Japan.
  • Communication Style: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can translate dense regulatory frameworks into simple, actionable guidance for executive leaders and everyday employees alike.

Additional Information: You have a passion for safety, our organization has a passion for cybersecurity. You’re looking for a career with a more fulfilling mission.
