This role is based at our Prague office which is set in a thoughtfully renovated space in the historic heart of the city on iconic Na Příkopě street. It’s a unique blend of three buildings brought together to create a one-of-a-kind layout. While our global HQ is in Sydney, Australia, Prague offers its own distinct charm, with a cosy, creative space that blends modern design with old-world character and is thoughtfully designed for collaboration, focus and connection.
About the team
Meet Vibe. We're the team behind the buzz, the good food, the great events, and the spaces people actually want to come into. We're part of the People SuperGroup, and our whole mission comes down to one thing: making Canva a place where people love to be, and can do the best work of their lives.
That means we wear a lot of hats. Planning the Campuses and experiences of the future. Keeping the ones we've got running like clockwork. Throwing events people actually talk about afterwards. Making sure there's always something yummy on the table. We're the ones who show up early, stay late, and genuinely love making other people's days better.
As Canva's grown, so have we. Vibe spans Workplace Experience, Facilities and Construction, Food and Beverage, Health and Wellbeing, and Events and Engagement, and we're only getting more ambitious from here.
If you love people, thrive on energy, and get a kick out of pulling off something great for a room full of people, you'll fit right in.
About the role
This is a fixed-term maternity leave cover for our Prague Campus. You will be required to be on-site 4 days per week. You'll step into the role of ambassador for Canva's values and mission at a pivotal time, keeping our culture and workplace experience running without a beat missed.
You'll lead Vibe initiatives across Real Estate, Facilities and Construction, Office Operations, Hospitality, Workplace Experience, Events, and Sustainability at the Prague Campus, based on-site. You'll bring ongoing Vibe projects together, keep communication flowing between stakeholders and project owners, and work closely with teams across the business to keep projects, events, and administrative work moving. Your focus is Prague, but you'll also support other European Vibe team members when needed and collaborate with colleagues globally.
What you’ll do
Drawing on your expertise in program and facilities management, workplace experience, communications, and relationship building, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to provide foundational support for our team with a global mindset. Given the temporary nature of this role as parental leave coverage, your contributions will be crucial in maintaining continuity and momentum within the Prague Campus during the contract period.

- Keep our local team engaged and informed through effective Vibe communications
- Own the Prague budget for Vibe programs, events, facilities, and maintenance
- Act as the main point of contact between the central team and local stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and local authorities
Engagement, Culture & Office Facilities
- Build on existing cultural programs and policies that make the biggest impact on employees and guests through hospitality, events, and engagement
- Rally teams to celebrate their milestones, big or small
- Build relationships with stakeholders to understand their business needs and use that insight to improve the employee experience
- Regularly assess workplace readiness and operations, keeping Canva standards high while reflecting local culture
- Support our global Facilities team in running processes in line with global policy
What we're looking for
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable setting priorities, planning and organising, and pivoting quickly when things change
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through on incoming tasks
- A problem solver who looks at processes from outside the box and is always looking to innovate and streamline as we scale
- A hospitality and customer service mindset, with a genuine desire to host, build relationships, and create great experiences for your guests
- A strategic thinker who can plan ahead while staying practical about what needs to happen right now
- Comfortable managing senior stakeholders and advocating for the Vibe team's expertise
- A collaborative approach, this role touches many teams across the office and needs strong communication and teamwork
- A natural sense of prioritisation, you can see what needs doing and judge what matters most in the moment
Why this role:
You'll get real ownership of a Campus, direct exposure to senior stakeholders, and the chance to shape how a few hundred people experience Canva every day, all while building skills across facilities, events, hospitality, and stakeholder management that carry well beyond a single role. Above all, you’ll have lots fun along the way.
We're building an inclusive culture where everyone can bring their full selves to work.
