In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Provide detailed input on mechanical design solutions, including component and assembly modeling using advanced CAD tools.
- Evaluate and critique engineering drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, and adherence to GD&T standards.
- Assess and provide recommendations for design for manufacturability (DFM) and tolerance analysis practices.
- Contribute insights on engineering mechanics, tribology, and geometric modeling challenges relevant to real-world applications.
- Review and enhance graphics and geometric modeling representations for mechanical assemblies and systems.
- Offer guidance on best practices in manufacturing engineering and help simulate realistic design scenarios.
- Create written and verbal explanations of mechanical engineering concepts to inform the development and training of AI models.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a strong academic foundation.
- Substantial experience in production design, including hands-on use of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFM principles.
- Proficiency with industry-standard CAD platforms (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) and demonstrated 3D modeling expertise.
- Strong understanding of tribology, engineering mechanics, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering and knowledge of end-to-end product development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly convey technical concepts and feedback.
- CSWP or CSWE certification is a plus, reflecting advanced proficiency in CAD and design workflows.
