Senior Java Developer (AI/ML integration)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Java technologies.
• Design, train, test, and deploy AI and ML solutions.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing business applications and processes.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integration services.
• Participate in technical analysis, software architecture design, and code reviews.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives within public sector organizations.
• Ensure the quality, performance, scalability, and security of developed solutions.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent university degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Systems, Machine Learning, Data Science, or an equivalent qualification at EQF Level 7 / MECES Level 3.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development using Java technologies.
• Proven experience in the design, development, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence with LLM and generative AI. 
• Experience working on projects for Public Sector organizations and government administrations.
• Experience in digital transformation initiatives, enterprise application development, or technology modernization projects.

Technical Skills

• Agentic system development
• Robot Process Automation
• Java 8, 11, or higher.
• Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Development of RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
• JPA, Hibernate, and persistence frameworks.
• Maven and Git.
• Relational databases, including Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
• Advanced SQL and query optimization.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

• Integration of AI components into Enterprise applications.
• Experience deploying and operating AI-powered solutions in production environments.

Language requirements 

• Native in Spanish. 
• Conversational in English.
