About the role

You will own how customers experience Nu across saving, spending, and credit, balancing growth, unit economics, and simplicity at scale. The role combines strategy and execution, with ownership across Cards, Yield, Financing, Payments, and Partnerships.

You’ll lead complex launches and migrations, and own critical business levers including pricing, credit line performance, asset growth, churn and retention, as well as partner operations scalability.

This role sits at the core of Nu Colombia’s portfolio strategy and requires strong judgment to navigate trade-offs between growth vs. profitability, engagement vs. churn, and portfolio complexity vs. customer clarity, while delivering impact at scale.

You'll be responsible for

  • Owning the end-to-end customer experience across saving, spending, and credit for a high-value customer segment in Colombia.
  • Leading strategy and execution across a multi-product portfolio, including Cards, Yield, Financing, Payments, and Partnerships.
  • Defining and driving portfolio and preference strategy, translating complex goals into a clear, simple, and scalable product offering.
  • Owning and optimizing critical business levers such as pricing, unit economics, credit line performance, asset growth, churn, and retention.
  • Leading major launches and migrations (e.g., premium card experiences, financing flows), ensuring strong go-to-market, operational readiness, and monitoring.
  • Making and communicating high-stakes trade-offs between growth and profitability, engagement and churn, and portfolio complexity and customer clarity.
  • Using data and customer insights to diagnose performance, identify drivers of behavior, and set crisp, outcome-oriented priorities.
  • Aligning and influencing senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Design, Risk, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Partnerships.
  • Ensuring execution excellence at scale, with clear requirements, strong rollout plans, tight feedback loops, and fast iteration.
  • Being involved in every stage of the product lifecycle, from discovery and definition to launch, iteration, and impact measurement.

We are looking for a person who has:

  • Strong end-to-end product ownership: Proven experience owning complex, high-impact product areas with significant business and customer outcomes.
  • Portfolio & strategy mindset: Ability to define product and portfolio strategy, manage trade-offs, and translate ambiguity into clear direction.
  • Customer-centric thinking: Deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors across the lifecycle, designing for engagement and habit.
  • Strong business and economic acumen: Comfort working with pricing, unit economics, growth, retention, and profitability metrics.
  • Data-driven decision making: Ability to use quantitative and qualitative insights to prioritize, evaluate trade-offs, and measure success.
  • Structured thinking in complex environments: Comfortable operating in ambiguity, breaking down complex problems into clear frameworks.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Strong ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across multiple functions, even with competing incentives.
  • Execution excellence: Track record of shipping complex initiatives with quality, speed, and scalability.
  • High agency: Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working closely with engineers, designers, data scientists, and business partners.
  • Advanced or Fluent English: You will use English daily in this role.
