We own the critical paths between sign-up and purchase including new user onboarding and the moments where users discover and adopt key features. As Postman expands what it means to be a customer, from enterprise organizations to teams of engineers to individual developers working with AI agents, this team plays a central role in defining and evolving those experiences.
We’re looking for a Senior Engineer who is excited to build and improve product journeys end-to-end. You’ll work at the intersection of product, design, and engineering to create intuitive, high-quality experiences that help users find value in Postman—whether they’re exploring on their own or collaborating as part of a team.
What You’ll Do

- Build and refine user experiences that help developers and teams quickly understand and realize the value of Postman
- Design and implement features that drive adoption of core platform capabilities across different user types (individuals, teams, and AI-assisted workflows)
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data to identify opportunities and prioritize improvements across the user journey
- Use experimentation and analytics to inform decisions and validate the impact of changes
- Develop a deep understanding of how developers use Postman—individually and collaboratively—and apply those insights to improve the product
- Iterate quickly, delivering thoughtful, incremental improvements that compound over time
- Contribute to the evolution of our onboarding and discovery systems as the product and customer base continue to grow
About You
Must have:
- 8+ years of experience building frontend or full-stack applications with a focus on product and user experience
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; experience with modern frameworks like React or Next.js
- Track record of building and improving product experiences that drive user engagement and adoption
- Experience using data, analytics, or experimentation to guide product decisions
- Strong product sense and attention to detail—you care deeply about how things work and feel
- Ability to take ownership of ambiguous problem spaces and drive them to clear outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across functions
- Curiosity about how developers work, and a desire to build tools that make them more effective
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with full-stack JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with state management tools like MobX
- Experience working on B2B products, developer tools, or AI-powered experiences
- Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
