Organizations everywhere struggle under the crushing costs and complexities of “solutions” that promise to simplify their lives. To create a better experience for their customers and employees. To help them grow. Software is a choice that can make or break a business. Create better or worse experiences. Propel or throttle growth. Business software has become a blocker instead of ways to get work done.

There’s another option. Freshworks. With a fresh vision for how the world works.

Freshworks Inc. builds uncomplicated service software that delivers exceptional employee and customer experiences. Our people-first approach to AI eliminates friction, helping businesses reduce complexity, lower cost-to-serve, and deliver faster, more human support through enterprise-grade yet easy-to-use CX and IT solutions. Nearly 75,000 companies, including Bridgestone, New Balance, Nucor, S&P Global, and Sony Music, trust Freshworks to power their Employee Experience (EX) and Customer Experience (CX) operations.

Fresh vision. Real impact. Come build it with us.

We're looking for a Sr. Manager of Executive Communications to be the primary architect and manager of our CEO, CTO, CIO, and CMO’s external voice. You will own the editorial strategy, calendar and output that turns Freshworks' narrative into category-shaping thought leadership — across executive social media handles, keynotes, podcasts, media.

This role  sits in the Corporate Communications function and is critical in driving clarity on the business strategy and in amplifying definitive points of view on the future of AI-powered service operations. You will work across the marketing organization and directly with the Freshworks management team to amplify POVs from these leaders and evolve the marketing operations and infrastructure to do it at scale.

What You Will Own:

1. Category Leadership

  • You are the strategic owner of our executive POVs — ensuring our C-suite defines the market narrative around AI-powered service operations and the mid-market EX category.
  • Build and maintain the Executive Communications Narrative Stack — the definitive source code for executive POV across keynotes, bylines, analyst briefings, media, and sales surfaces.
  • Develop and execute the executive thought leadership program positioning the CEO and leadership bench as the primary category voices for the future of Employee and Customer Experience.
  • Help drive the PR engine for EX category creation: earned media placements, opinion bylines, and the executive podcast circuit — at volume and with velocity.
  • Coordinate with Analyst Relations to leverage Freshworks positioning through each analyst cycle.
  • Establish Freshworks as the credible, practical alternative to legacy platforms by grounding all executive content in mid-market simplicity, AI productivity, and time-to-value.

2. Executive Narrative Stack & Messaging

  • Own the narrative architecture that connects platform capabilities to market-facing executive communication — translating AI-powered service operations into simple, credible business value.
  • Deliver updated messaging source code for use across sales enablement, event keynotes, analyst relations, and media — ensuring every GTM surface reflects a unified executive point of view.
  •  Align executive storytelling with vertical GTM programs across priority industries (technology, financial services, healthcare, professional services) as Freshworks scales its upmarket motion.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to integrate platform launches, competitive differentiation, and customer proof points into executive narratives that drive market confidence.

3. Social & Influencer Amplification Engine

  • One strong POV becomes dozens of targeted assets. You will evolve and operate the flywheel that turns executive perspective into measurable reach.
  • Manage the executive social amplification engine across LinkedIn and YouTube, targeting growth in AEO traffic and share-of-voice in the service software space
  • Convert thought leadership content into platform-specific assets modulated for audience segment and buyer stage — from C-suite prospects to mid-market practitioners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, community leaders, and industry voices to extend Freshworks' executive reach organically.
  • Actively monitor the enterprise tech zeitgeist — surfacing moments where our executives can enter conversations with insight, not noise.
  • Support the AI influencer and social amplification programs that are central to the marketing growth engine, including creator partnerships and content series on LinkedIn and YouTube.

4. Integrated Corporate Narrative

  • Support the Sr. Director, Corporate Communications to ensure executive comms supports and amplifies the company's premium brand investments, partner programs, and flagship events.
  • Partner with Brand, Product Marketing, Enterprise Field Marketing, Digital Marketing, Investor Relations, and Employee Engagement to ensure executive messaging is precisely aligned with the broader narrative at each phase of the Marketing roadmap.
  • Support corporate milestone communications — funding announcements, product launches, analyst report placements, and strategic partnerships — with executive-ready narratives.

5. AI-Powered Execution at Marketing Velocity

  • Our Marketing organization operates on an MVP model: ship fast, test resonance, iterate, and scale what works. You will bring this discipline to executive communications.
  • Build AI-assisted content workflows that multiply executive output — from first-draft generation and message testing to social scheduling and performance tracking — without sacrificing strategic quality.
  • Operate with product-style development cycles: launch content quickly, measure resonance with press, analysts, and customers, and iterate based on signal rather than assumption.
  • Implement an editorial calendar infrastructure that integrates with campaign rhythms, product releases, analyst cycles, and event schedules across the full marketing calendar.
  • Instrument and report on executive communications impact: earned media coverage, analyst sentiment, executive social growth, and contribution to brand awareness and pipeline.

Experience & Domain

  • Minimum 8 years in executive communications, PR, or corporate communications, with the majority of that time in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology.
  • Deep fluency in the IT service management, Employee Experience, or HR tech landscape — you understand the buyer, the influencer ecosystem, and the analyst community.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and executing C-suite thought leadership programs that generated measurable brand impact.
  • Experience driving executive narrative through category-creation or company-repositioning moments, not just sustaining existing brand presence.

Strategic & Creative Capability

  • Exceptional writing and editing — you can translate complex AI and platform concepts into precise, resonant executive language that works across media, analyst, and social contexts.
  • Strong narrative architecture skills: you build messaging frameworks, not just individual pieces of content.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute against an editorial calendar under pressure, with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience partnering with analyst relations teams to develop and deliver executive briefing narratives.

AI Proficiency & Operating Model Fit

  • AI-native operator: you actively use AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, testing, and workflow automation — and you are always looking for new leverage points.
  • Comfortable with data: you track what resonates, report on performance, and adapt content strategy based on signal.
  • Thrives in an MVP model: you ship, learn, and iterate rather than waiting for perfection.
  • High EQ and executive presence: you build trusted relationships with C-level leaders and navigate their preferences with confidence and discretion.
