Job Summary:
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial performance of two regions, providing strategic financial support to business stakeholders, and driving informed decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, business case development, and financial analysis. The role requires strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence senior leadership while ensuring compliance and governance standards are maintained.
About the Role:
Financial Management & Business Partnering
- Manage and oversee the financial performance of two business regions, ensuring achievement of financial objectives and targets.
- Partner with regional and functional stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor key financial metrics and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises for assigned regions.
- Analyse variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, providing actionable recommendations.
- Support long-term financial planning and resource allocation initiatives.
Business Cases & Strategic Support
- Develop robust business cases for investments, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Perform financial modelling, scenario analysis, and risk assessments to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership teams in evaluating growth opportunities and strategic priorities.
Financial Analysis & Month-End Close
- Drive month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Conduct detailed month-close analysis, including flexing and variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Provide meaningful commentary and recommendations to stakeholders on financial performance.
Stakeholder Management & Negotiation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Lead negotiations and act as a key liaison between finance, business teams, and operational stakeholders.
- Influence business decisions through effective communication of financial insights.
Vendor & Third-Party Coordination
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure smooth financial operations and service delivery.
- Monitor vendor performance, contractual commitments, and financial implications.
Audit & Compliance
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing accurate information and documentation.
- Resolve audit queries promptly and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen financial controls and governance frameworks within the regions.
Leadership Reporting & Presentations
- Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Present financial performance, business cases, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership teams.
Translate complex financial information into clear and actionable business insights.
About You:
- 10+ years of relavent work experience into the below skills
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting expertise.
- Good to have experience into Real Estate Finance Operations Management
- Advanced financial analysis and business case development skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking capability.
- Experience managing cross-functional and regional financial operations.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and audit/compliance management skills.
- Proven experience in finance business partnering, FP&A, or regional finance management roles.
- Experience supporting multiple regions/business units.
- Exposure to strategic planning, vendor management, and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and presentation tools.
