Your role

As a Global Transition Project Manager(PM) driving business transition from Japan to India, you will build standard processes and a Japan-led transition model, and lead actual project execution. Working closely with India-side teams on a daily basis, you will manage language and cultural differences, tacit knowledge, and expectation gaps to support future expansion of transition activities, covering both project management and cross-cultural collaboration.

• Drive business transition projects from Japan to India
• Standardize and improve transition processes, and build repeatable success models
• Work closely with global teams and coordinate across cultural and language differences
• Resolve expectation gaps and communication issues among stakeholders
• Leverage team leadership or management experience for teams of around 20–30 members
• Contribute from framework development through execution in a complex global environment
• Work flexibly in a hybrid model depending on project needs

Who You Are

Required skills and experience

• Project management experience, or experience leading projects as a team lead
• Practical experience in offshore collaboration or overseas transition projects
• Leadership or management experience for teams of around 20–30 members
• Understanding of infrastructure-related work
• Strong communication skills to bridge language and cultural gaps
• Resilience and creativity to drive results in ambiguous environments

Preferred skills and experience

• Experience working regularly with global centers such as India
• Experience in transition or standardization projects in manufacturing, finance, insurance, or related industries
• Experience improving transition processes or building success models
• Comfort with English communication
• Ability to use new approaches such as AI to solve problems
• Ability to engage stakeholders and drive progress in ambiguous environments
