About the Role

This role will lead content strategy and operations across Glance Home Lock (HL), Spaces, and Expressions, including content curation, design management, publisher partnerships, distribution stakeholders. The individual will work closely with HQ to drive publishing automation, analyze performance metrics to optimize the content mix, collaborate with external publishers to source and scale high-quality content, present content data/metrics to our distribution (SBKK/Sharp/…) stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Become well-versed in AI automation and content creation tools, with a focus on producing high volumes of quality content in alignment with content strategies
• Adhere to publishing schedules to maintain regularity and quality of content
• Digest direction from internal stakeholders (direct managers) on the overall content plan and direction, and serve as a reliable mentor to junior editors
• Lead end-to-end project management across multiple content assignments and deliverables — planning timelines, allocating resources, tracking progress, and ensuring on-time, on-quality delivery in daily operations
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and risks in content production workflows, and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
• Work cross-market and cross-functionally, coordinating stakeholders and dependencies to keep projects on track
• Collaborate smoothly with the design team to ensure market-suited, aesthetically appropriate design in line with design guidelines
• Take strong ownership of the product, with a clear sense of responsibility for maintaining quality content across the product
• Able to analyze data, identify growth opportunities, and quickly run improvement cycles together with team members

What We’re Looking For

• More than 10 years of editorial content experience in digital media or a content platform, with native-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency or above in English
• Strong project management skills, with demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent content projects, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience in content automation and AIGC (AI-generated content) creation
• Strong knowledge of both editorial and PR content rules and regulations
• Knowledge of media outlets and platforms, with an understanding of their content
• Knowledge of content monetization and how it connects to the bigger business picture
• Aware of the importance of deadlines and adherence to content regulations/guidelines
• Experienced in working with designers and outsourcing partners
• Passionate about working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• A team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of ensuring high-quality content through editing and proofreading, even without directly authoring it
• Proactive in addressing issues as they arise
• Understands the value of partnership and can work collaboratively on projects
