What will you be doing?
- Own end-to-end design for key journeys across Glance's surfaces — from research and flows through wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
- Turn complex, AI-driven commerce experiences into intuitive, visually compelling designs that resonate with Japanese users
- Partner with product and engineering to shape the roadmap from a design perspective and ship high-quality work
- Use user research, testing, and data to validate decisions and continuously improve the experience
- Contribute to and apply Glance's design system, maintaining consistency and quality across the product
Key Requirements:
- Around 4–7 years in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design, with a strong portfolio of shipped consumer products
- Proven ability to own design end to end — from problem framing and user flows to final UI
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma) and familiarity with design systems
- Strong grasp of mobile-first and responsive design, with the ability to balance user needs and business goals
- Business-level Japanese and English
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience designing for mobile consumer apps at scale, ideally with a commerce or content component
- Familiarity with user research methods and working alongside dedicated researchers
- Exposure to CTV / large-screen design, or AI-driven product experiences
