Your Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize processes on state-of-the-art plasma systems for dry-chemical structuring of optoelectronic components.
- Lead the planning, execution, analysis, and documentation of plasma process development activities.
- Drive continuous process improvement and contribute to next‑generation VCSEL and photodiode technologies.
- Share expertise by training production personnel and transferring developments into international manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate closely with development teams and related frontend engineering departments.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies through external technology scouting to further strengthen our manufacturing capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
- Completed university degree (Master’s or Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
- Knowledge of plasma technology.
- Experience in modern semiconductor device manufacturing and/or optoelectronics.
- Familiarity with statistical process control.
- Independent, solution‑oriented, and responsible working style.
- Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Proficient spoken and written English.
