The Role

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps & Cloud Data Platform Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, automating, and supporting enterprise-grade cloud and data platform solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will work at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and data platform engineering, helping build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a platform mindset and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges through automation and modern cloud technologies.

Working closely with Product Owners, Architects, Data Engineers, and Platform Teams, you will play a key role in driving platform modernization, operational excellence, and continuous delivery practices across the Azure ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities

As an Azure DevOps & Cloud Data Platform Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and support enterprise data platform capabilities using Azure services and Databricks.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud provisioning and platform deployment.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application and infrastructure delivery.
• Develop automation solutions and platform services using Python.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, resilient, and highly available cloud architectures.
• Support the development and optimization of data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, Security teams, and Product Owners to deliver business-critical platform capabilities.
• Drive platform standardization, governance, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and perform root cause analysis to improve reliability and performance.
• Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, automation, testing, and DevOps best practices.
• Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the platform organization.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Experience developing automation solutions and platform tooling using Python.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and modern data platform environments.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery models.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, scalability, and operational best practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud and data platforms.
