How the Baseline template is laid out
A heavy vertical bar marks the left edge of the header block. Under each role, a dotted leader line runs across the page from the job title to the dates, the way a table of contents connects a chapter to its page number. Headings are in sentence case with a hairline rule.
Who should use Baseline?
Candidates in accounting, administration, operations and logistics, where readers like to line up roles and dates quickly, and anyone who wants a plain black page with one distinctive detail.
Is Baseline ATS-friendly?
Dotted leaders are drawn with styling, not typed full stops, so the extracted text stays clean. The single column and standard headings keep it ATS-friendly.
A writing tip for Baseline
Leaders work best when job titles are short. Use the title on your offer letter rather than a long internal name.
