Changing stacks costs less than people expect after five years of experience and more than they expect in the first two
Early on, depth compounds - the second year in one ecosystem is worth more than two first years in two. Later, the transferable part is most of the job, and the new syntax is a few weeks. Judge the move by the problem domain you want, not the language.
