About the Role

We’re seeking a knowledgeable and motivated External Mentor – Business Analytics to guide learners through foundational and advanced business data analysis. In this role, you will mentor learners in data-driven decision-making, project execution, and analytics tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and more.

What are we looking for :

• 3+ years of work experience with SQL and Excel

• 2+ years of work experience with Python (Programming Language)

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analyst

• 3+ years of work experience with Microsoft Power BI

Key Responsibilities

● Mentor learners on tools such as Excel (Advanced), SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and business reporting platforms

● Provide real-time support and resolve technical queries related to data wrangling, modeling, and visualization

● Offer interview preparation, career advice, and industry best practices

● Conduct group mentoring sessions to clarify concepts and provide career insights

● Support hands-on in domains like sales forecasting, operations optimization, and market segmentation

● Teach best practices in data cleaning, KPI identification, storytelling with data, and strategic insight delivery

● Share knowledge on business metrics, analytical frameworks, and data-driven decision-making

● Help learners understand data lifecycle stages — from data collection to actionable recommendations

● Encourage usage of BI tools for performance monitoring and trend analysis

● Contribute ideas to continuously enhance learning content and learner engagement

Qualifications & Skills

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field

● 5+ years of industry experience in business analytics or data-driven decision-making

● Proficient in: Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), SQL and data querying Data Visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau

● Strong understanding of business processes, KPI frameworks, and data storytelling

● Experience in mentoring or teaching is highly preferred

● Strong communication skills in English; fluency in Tamil or Hindi is a plus
