About the Role

We’re looking for experienced clinical and medical publications professionals who can bring strong scientific judgment, publication expertise, and meticulous attention to detail to the development of advanced medical writing tools.

You’ll work with realistic clinical and scientific materials, reviewing manuscripts, abstracts, posters, presentations, and supporting clinical data. Your role will be to determine whether scientific content is accurate, appropriately interpreted, publication-ready, and consistent with established reporting and publication standards.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced medical writer, scientific publications professional, or clinical author who enjoys detailed manuscript review and can clearly explain why something is correct, incorrect, or needs improvement.

No previous AI experience is required.

What You’ll Do

• Author and review realistic publication-focused tasks based on peer-reviewed manuscripts, scientific abstracts, conference posters, and presentation materials.

• Review draft content for scientific accuracy, clarity, structure, and publication readiness.

• Assess whether manuscripts and other materials follow relevant journal requirements and established publication standards.

• Evaluate clinical and scientific reasoning, distinguishing substantive errors in interpretation from matters of editorial or stylistic preference.

• Verify scientific claims against source materials, including Clinical Study Reports, study protocols, and Tables, Figures, and Listings.

• Assess whether reported findings and narratives are accurately supported by the underlying clinical data.

• Review abstracts, discussion sections, and other manuscript components for appropriate interpretation of study results.

• Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified issues and how they should be addressed.

• Apply publication ethics and reporting standards consistently during reviews.

• Work with project leads to refine evaluation criteria and document effective publication workflows and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

You should have substantial hands-on experience developing or reviewing clinical and scientific publications, ideally in an environment where accuracy, publication standards, and scientific integrity are critical.

You’ll be expected to:

• Bring at least 5 years of dedicated medical or scientific publication authoring experience.

• Have experience within a pharmaceutical sponsor, CRO, medical communications agency, or as an independent consultant.

• Have directly authored or managed peer-reviewed manuscripts published in established biomedical or clinical journals.

• Be comfortable working with complex clinical data and translating study findings into accurate scientific narratives.

• Understand how publication claims should be supported by underlying study data.

• Have excellent written communication skills and the ability to provide precise, actionable feedback.

• Work independently while collaborating effectively with other subj
