Job description
About the role – The Data Analyst will support business decision‑making by extracting, cleaning, and visualizing data from multiple sources. This on‑site position works closely with product, finance, and marketing teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.
Key responsibilities
Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve accurate data from relational databases.
Develop and maintain Excel dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders.
Use Python (pandas, NumPy) to clean, transform, and analyze large datasets.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and present findings in clear visual formats.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
Document data definitions, processes, and analytical methodologies.
Support ad‑hoc data requests and contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes.
Required qualifications
1–3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, and performance tuning.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, macros).
Solid Python programming ability, especially with data‑analysis libraries such as pandas and NumPy.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business questions into data‑driven solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to non‑technical audiences.
Nice to have
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
Familiarity with statistical analysis or machine‑learning concepts.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
