Draftsman

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented talent to join our design and engineering team. The candidate will assist in planning, design, and coordination of construction projects, ensuring design specifications meet functional and aesthetic goals while adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Generating structural drawings of reinforced concrete, steel, masonry & wood buildings and facilities.
• Perform routine to moderately complex drafting and detailing to produce accurate drawings and plans for fabrication and construction.
• Coordinate with engineers and designers within the office.
• Maintain concurrent hours of operation as the main office in Houston.
• Prepare technical drawings and construction documents.
• Support evaluating design proposals and provide input for material selection, layout optimization, and cost efficiency.
• Participate in design coordination meetings with internal teams.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with building codes, local regulations, and safety standards.
• Contribute to value engineering exercises to optimize project costs without compromising quality or design intent.
• Maintain documentation and version control of design files and project specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Designing (or Diploma in Architecture).
• 0 – 8 years of relevant experience.
• Age between 25 and 35 years.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively on Microsoft Teams or other internet meeting platforms.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, STAAD.Pro, or similar tools.
• Deadline oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of structural and MEP systems.
• Understanding of design principles, construction methods, and building materials.
