  • Assess language quality, literary appropriateness, writing style, clarity, and tone.

  • Use knowledge of literature, rhetoric, composition, and grammar to evaluate AI-generated writing.

  • Determine whether written responses are well-constructed, appropriate for their intended audience, and faithful to the original request.

  • Use AI training and evaluation platforms to document findings and submit evaluation data according to project requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Based in the United States.

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Creative Writing, Linguistics, Comparative Literature, Education, or a related humanities field.

  • Professional experience teaching English, literature, language arts, composition, creative writing, ESL, or a related subject at the K-12, college, or adult education level.

  • Strong ability to follow detailed, multi-step instructions precisely without omitting or reinterpreting requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of literary analysis, writing conventions, grammar, style, tone, and clarity.

  • Daily hands-on experience using Google Classroom for classroom management, including assignments, announcements, feedback, due dates, and communication.

  • Regular experience using Gmail and Google Calendar.

  • Practical experience using AI tools for real-world tasks.

  • Ability to provide clear instructions to AI assistants and critically evaluate their output.

  • Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing written content for grammar, tone, accuracy, and completeness.

  • Access to an iPhone with iMessage.

  • Facebook and/or Instagram account.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI evaluation, data labeling, user testing, or similar feedback-driven projects.

  • Familiarity with prompt writing and practical understanding of AI assistant capabilities and limitations.
