About the Role

Apply your accounting expertise and hands-on financial systems experience to a project focused on improving the accuracy and effectiveness of next-generation AI systems.

You’ll evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs, review financial statements and reconciliations, assess accounting workflows and financial-system logic, and provide clear expert feedback. The role combines practical accounting judgment with hands-on ERP and financial systems knowledge, covering processes from transaction capture through month-end close and financial reporting.

No prior AI experience is required. Your accounting and financial systems expertise is the primary focus.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Analysis

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for technical accuracy, including accounting treatments, calculations, journal entries, and explanations.

• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close workpapers.

• Identify potential misstatements and determine appropriate accounting treatments with clear rationale.

• Apply relevant accounting standards when assessing outputs and financial information.

Financial Systems & ERP

• Assess accounting workflows and financial-system logic across platforms such as:

  • NetSuite

  • SAP

  • Oracle

  • QuickBooks

  • Xero

  • Dynamics 365

• Use hands-on knowledge of financial systems to identify issues, inconsistencies, and process gaps.

• Evaluate how accounting processes operate across modern ERP and financial technology environments.

AI Output Evaluation

• Apply written rubrics and grading guidelines consistently when rating or ranking AI-generated accounting outputs.

• Identify ambiguous or complex cases and flag them appropriately.

• Contribute real-world accounting scenarios and reference answers based on practical financial systems experience.

Feedback & Documentation

• Provide clear, detailed, and actionable written feedback to project and model teams.

• Document accounting issues, correct treatments, and supporting rationale.

• Communicate findings in a way that supports continuous improvement of AI systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, month-end close, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management accounting, cost accounting, or FP&A with substantive accounting responsibilities.

• Practical experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.

• Hands-on experience with financial systems or ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday, or comparable systems.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of accounting processes from transaction capture through month-end close and financial reporting.

• Ability to identify accounting errors, misstatements, system issues, and process inconsistencies.

• Strong analytical and accounting judgment.

• Ability to apply written rubrics and detailed evaluation guidelines consistently.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2 level or above).

• Ability to clearly document findings, accounting treatments, and rationale.

• Reliable internet connection and immediate availability.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with adjacent finance tools such as BlackLine, Bill.com, Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Avalara, Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Previous paid experience in human-data projects for AI, including data labeling, annotation, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading.

• Previous participation in similar financial systems or accounting evaluation projects.

Compensation

$90–$170/hour
