Remote | Contractor Assignment | United States | 12 Weeks
40 hours/week | Minimum 4 hours/day | 4 hours PST overlap required
About the Role
We are seeking experienced, US-based dermatologists to evaluate AI-generated medical content and dermatology images using a structured online evaluation platform.
You’ll apply your clinical expertise to assess dermatological accuracy, safety, relevance, image quality, and diagnostic usability. Your evaluations will help identify issues in AI-generated clinical outputs and provide expert feedback that supports the development of more reliable medical AI systems.
The work combines dermatology expertise with structured image and content evaluation, including reviewing visual characteristics such as blur, lighting, exposure, color, and framing and, where applicable, identifying likely skin conditions, assigning confidence ratings, and documenting your clinical rationale.
What You’ll Do
Review AI-generated medical content for dermatological accuracy, harmfulness, completeness, and clinical relevance.
Evaluate diagnoses, treatment plans, and clinical summaries related to dermatological cases.
Review dermatology images and assess image quality and diagnostic usability.
Identify visual concerns including blur, lighting, exposure, color, and framing.
Where applicable, identify likely skin conditions and provide confidence ratings.
Document clear clinical rationale for your evaluations.
Provide expert feedback to improve the medical integrity and safety of AI-generated outputs.
Work with structured evaluation guidelines and online annotation tools to produce consistent assessments.
Requirements
US-based — mandatory.
Licensed Medical Doctor (MD or MBBS) with a specialization in Dermatology or equivalent qualification.
Fully licensed and actively practicing medicine in the United States.
Minimum 5 years of post-residency experience practicing as a dermatologist.
Strong visual attention to detail.
Comfortable reviewing sensitive or graphic medical images.
Technically comfortable using web-based annotation and evaluation platforms.
Able to use image zoom and other platform tools effectively.
Able to follow detailed evaluation guidelines and complete structured questionnaires accurately.

Work & Engagement
Engagement: Independent contractor/freelancer assignment.
Location: Remote, United States.
Schedule: Minimum 4 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
Time-zone requirement: 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
Duration: 12 weeks.
This contractor assignment does not include medical or paid leave.
Evaluation Process
Candidates will be evaluated based on relevant qualifications, assessment performance, and one interview round.
